The University System of Maryland Board of Regents has named Darryll J. Pines, PhD, the 34th president of the University of Maryland, College Park. Dr. Pines is dean of the university’s A. James Clark School of Engineering and the Nariman Farvardin Professor of Aerospace Engineering.
The Terp experience extends beyond classrooms, labs and studios. It encompasses residence halls and dining halls, clubs and sports, fraternities and sororities, campus events and performances, and countless off-campus destinations. Summer Session 2020 classes meet June 1-August 21. All Summer Session I courses will be offered in an online format. A decision on Summer Session II course formats will be announced at a later date.
Summer Session is open enrollment. Registration is now open on Testudo for current, incoming, and visiting students. Visiting students must first apply.
Notices about scheduled courses will be delivered to registered students via their Email of Record and posted on the Summer Session website at summer.umd.edu and Testudo.
