The Government of Nunavut (GN) today launched the Nunavut Public Art Initiative to support local artists during the COVID-19 pandemic, as a celebration of the territory’s creators.
There are no confirmed or probable cases of COVID-19 in Nunavut. The total number of persons followed to date is 1719. There are 225 persons currently being followed.
Dr. Michael Patterson, Nunavut’s Chief Public Health Officer, has announced that the two presumptive cases of COVID-19 at the Mary River Mine tested negative after confirmatory testing at a lab in southern Canada.
